Challenge
When Clever Media Group first contacted us in Juli 2014 their question was if we could do a linkbuilding outreach campaign to achieve their SEO goals for the website www.buitenverlichtingzaak.nl (outdoor lighting shop). Our initial campaign was growing search engine traffic, but we wanted more. Based on our experience, we saw that by a more intensive campaign we could help the webshop becoming the Nr.1 selling platform for outdoor lightning in The Netherlands.
Solution
The task was clear, we had to deliver good SEO results. During the campaign, we kept searching for good link opportunities, made sure we used a good variety of anchor texts and we kept pushing the keywords that got close to the places where they convert the best (top 3 Google). Whenever we got close to taking the number one spot for certain keywords we intensified the linking. In total, we gained over 25 number 1 positions for keywords with around 10.000 searches per month.
Result
After delivering good off page SEO results straight after the first month, we continued an extended run adding several keywords to the campaign. Nowadays we are still optimizing this webshop, for what is now the online market leader in outdoor lighting. At the start the website had around 1500 visitors per month. Four years later the website has around 15.000 visitors per month. Also with revenues that are 10 times higher than before the campaign started, we can say the increment has been over 1000%
